What you get

Under YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam, the state has set up thousands of Custom Hiring Centres (CHCs), generally attached to Rythu Bharosa Kendras, that are stocked with tractors, rotavators, combine harvesters and other equipment. Farmer groups running these centres receive a capital subsidy (with the remainder financed by a bank loan), and individual farmers can then rent machinery at notified affordable rates, reducing the cost and drudgery of land preparation, sowing and harvesting.

Eligibility criteria

  • Any farmer in Andhra Pradesh needing farm machinery for land preparation, sowing or harvesting
  • Farmer groups/FPOs can apply to operate a Custom Hiring Centre and avail the capital subsidy
  • Equipment is rented through the nearest RBK-linked hiring centre

    Book the required machinery for the needed dates

    Pay the notified rental charge and use the equipment for your farm operation
